In September 2000 Pi Consulting was established in Wimbledon by two people with a shared vision of providing a client focused service that combined the very highest standards of Professionalism and Independence. Independent Trusteeship through Pi Pension Trustees was added to our range of services the following year.
In 2011, the Pi Partnership Board made the decision to move to an employee owned organisation with the creation of an Employee Benefit Trust and an emphasis on individual employee shareholdings. Over the last 20 years, we have built upon our London base to also cover the Southwest and Midlands through our acquisitions of Temple Trustees in 2016 and Fairfield Trustees in 2019. Whilst our numbers may have grown from two people in 2000 to our current team of 42 experienced individuals, and our range of Trustee Executive Services evolved to meet the challenges of delivering increased governance, we continue to embody those early ideals of Professionalism and Independence to deliver the very highest standards of service to our clients. Collaboration and teamwork remain at the heart of our business, and we look to build upon our relationships with clients, professional advisers and with the wider pension industry to promote and adopt best practices across all our pension scheme services.
