Alison, a Chartered Accountant by original qualification, is an Accredited Trustee through the Association of Professional Pension Trustees. She began her career in investment management, working as a Portfolio Manager specialising in fixed income and alternative assets. Her long-standing interest in sustainable investment and ESG continues to shape her pragmatic, risk-aware approach to pension scheme governance.

She brings expertise in statutory accounting, investment, and corporate finance, which allows her to cut through complexity, identify key risks, and collaborate effectively with sponsors and advisers to deliver effective governance solutions.
She has played a significant role in risk transfer projects, guiding several schemes through the full process from buy-in to buy-out and wind-up. She ensures projects stay on track and within budget, aligning advisers and managing timelines effectively. Her ability to coordinate legal, actuarial, administrative, and investment workstreams has been key to the success of these transactions.
Beyond risk transfer, Alison has led on a wide range of trustee projects, including scheme restructurings, benefit rectifications, adviser reviews, and strategic investment reviews. She is committed to building robust governance frameworks that support regulatory compliance, cost control, and efficient oversight, while avoiding unnecessary complexity.
Alison is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and holds both the PMI Award and Certificate in Pension Trusteeship.
