Jenny Croxall

Professional Trustee

Jenny is an experienced pensions professional with over 20 years in the industry and a strong technical background as a qualified actuary. Since qualifying in 2008, she has worked across a broad spectrum of DB, DC, and hybrid pension arrangements. Her early career as a Scheme Actuary included involvement in complex funding negotiations, regulatory interactions, and corporate restructures, where she developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by both trustees and sponsors.

Since 2016, Jenny has focused exclusively on providing Independent Trustee services. She is an Accredited Trustee through the Association of Professional Pension Trustees and acts as Chair, Co-Trustee or Sole Trustee to a diverse portfolio of schemes across different sectors and sizes. She is particularly well suited to supporting smaller schemes, where her technical expertise, collaborative approach and focus on cost-effective governance delivers real value.

Jenny has experience of leading schemes through key transition points, including corporate restructures, entry into the Pension Protection Fund, and the full buy-in to buy-out process. She also has a strong understanding of DC governance and regulatory requirements, including value for member assessments and Chair Statements.

A pragmatic and solutions-driven trustee, Jenny ensures her schemes have the right advisory support in place and has led numerous adviser review and selection processes. She is also actively involved in implementing the new Funding Code, applying its principles in a proportionate and bespoke way to suit the unique needs of each scheme.

In addition to her client roles, Jenny is a member of Pi Partnership’s Governance and Compliance Committee, which plays a key role in the development of our Sole Trustee framework. She is also a Director of Pi’s Employee Benefit Trust, contributing to the broader strategic development of the business.
