Julie Appleby
Team Support
Julie joined Pi in August 2024, bringing experience from the investment and transport sectors, where she worked in senior personal assistant roles. In these positions, she supported an Executive Director and wider teams, developing strong organisational skills and a talent for managing competing priorities. Her responsibilities included diary management for internal staff and external stakeholders, arranging both domestic and international travel, and planning and coordinating team events and away days. She was also responsible for compiling and distributing monthly board reports, preparing presentation materials for external meetings, and processing expenses.
Julie now provides administration support to Pi’s independent trustee team, delivering a comprehensive range of services that underpin day-to-day scheme management. Her role includes diary management, coordination of trustee meetings, and assistance with the preparation and review of scheme documentation, ensuring processes run smoothly and deadlines are met.
Beyond her trustee support work, Julie plays an active role in the wider Pi team. She contributes to office management, project coordination, and provides flexible administrative support wherever it is needed. Colleagues value her approachable nature, attention to detail, and her ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure.
Julie’s combination of strong organisational capability, professionalism, and personable approach ensures she can build positive working relationships with trustees, advisers, and colleagues alike.
