Simon is an experienced pension scheme secretary with over 20 years of experience in the pensions industry. As Secretariat Lead within Pi’s Trustee Executive Services team, he oversees the delivery of internal secretariat functions and governance processes across a broad and diverse client portfolio.

Combining in-depth technical expertise in pensions administration with strong project management skills, Simon adopts a pragmatic and firsthand approach to governance. Additionally, he has supported trustees in embedding the principles of the General Code of Practice into governance and risk frameworks, ensuring schemes remain compliant and forward-thinking.

Experienced in collaborating with multinational sponsors, Simon understands the unique challenges posed by cross-border pension arrangements. He skilfully navigates differing time zones and regulatory landscapes, providing seamless governance support to UK trustee boards operating within global environments.

A natural leader, Simon is recognised for his methodical approach, attention to detail, and excellent people skills. His proactive and organised style ensures trustees benefit from timely, expert guidance delivered within a robust governance framework.

As a member of the Association of Professional Pension Trustees, Simon upholds the highest professional standards. He consistently anticipates trustee needs and tailors his secretariat services to meet the demands of both traditional trustee boards and sole trustee arrangements, delivering clear, compliant, and effective governance solutions.
