Interests Outside of Work

I recently carried out a personal risk assessment and decided to give up horses, I now spend my spare time swimming or digging in the garden.

Top Achievement To Date

Supporting the NOW Pensions team migrating £7bn of assets and 2 million members transition to a new operating platform and administration service provider. It was a model transition.

Tracy Weller

Professional Trustee

 Tracy is an Accredited Trustee with the Association of Professional Pension Trustees as well as a Prince2 qualified Project Manager and has 35 years pensions industry experience. She has worked across DB, DC, Hybrid, workplace, retail and local government pension schemes from £25m to £10bn in assets and from a few members to 4 million members. She has held a number of executive and consultancy roles and been responsible for pension scheme operations including administration, IT, change, banking, cash management and pension fund accounting.

Tracy has held the role of Independent Trustee for the NOW Pensions master trust (serving 2 million members with assets under management of £7bn), since March 2021 and sits on the Board, Operations Committee and chairs the Communications Committee. Prior to this Tracy held the role of Chief Operations Officer at the People Pensions master trust. During her early career and whilst working at WTW she held the role of Member Nominated Trustee.

The first 13 years of Tracy’s pensions career were spent developing and supporting pensions administration systems. She went on to manage systems teams and project manage pensions administration transitions before moving into operational management roles. This has given her a deep understanding of the data and processes that support pension schemes and how change projects (both product enhancement and legislative) impact operations, members and employers.

Tracy prides herself on being a team playing working in a collaborative way to ensure goals are delivered and ensuring the team have some fun along the way.

We provide regular opportunities to share knowledge amongst our teams through Lunch Time Learn in sessions and actively encourage involvement and participation into this.

Amanda Burden

Director and Governance Specialist

Amanda is a Board Director of Pi Partnership Group and leads the development of Pi’s services. She works closely with clients, the Pi team and professional advisers to ensure all of Pi’s services meet the changing needs of the pension market and deliver clear value to Pi’s clients.

Amanda has over twenty-five years’ experience in the pensions industry and, as well as ensuring Pi’s services continue to meet the needs of our clients in a rapidly changing pension landscape, is also a member of Pi’s Executive Management Team. She provides specialist project management for clients on a range of services, including adviser selection and review, trustee board assessment and governance design.

As well as being a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute (PMI) and Chair of the PMI London Group, Amanda holds PMI certificates in Pensions Automatic Enrolment and DC Governance, was a past Prince2 practitioner and is a Certified Risk Management Practitioner.

What do you most enjoy about your role:  Successfully delivering complex projects and creating a happy team environment.

Interests outside work: Travel, theatre and as part of Abundance London helping create beautiful spaces in urban settings.

Top achievement to date: Competing in the 2005/06 Round the World Clipper race.
